The Legacy Hoops Skill Development Program is built on 17 years of real-world coaching experience from Skills Development Specialist Damian Johnson. His work across youth, high school, college, and elite training environments has shaped a development model designed to consistently build confident, disciplined competitors.
This program exists for one reason: to create a structured, consistent, and accountable environment where athletes can focus on growth without distraction. Our player development framework helps young athletes build confidence, resilience, discipline, and independence. When everyone is aligned, athletes improve faster, retain more, and carry those habits into competition and everyday life.
Structure protects the athlete. It eliminates mixed messages, keeps expectations clear, and allows the coach to do the job they were brought in to do: teach, challenge, and develop. When families fully commit to the framework, the athlete gains something rareβan environment where improvement is inevitable.
